Floating Docks
Floating Docks are gaining popularity across the region as many more rivers and lakes are being regulated to obtain certain water levels. Technology in the floating dock segment has brought dramatic improvements regarding the stability of a dock on the water, different styles of anchorage, and available accessories for a dock.
Ideal conditions for a floating dock include water fluctuations (up to 12 feet at times), less than ideal bottom conditions (mucky, muddy, or rocky) and extreme water depths from a few inches to over 30 feet deep. Winter storage options vary greatly from storing docks in harbors, bays, marinas, disassembling and dry stacking on shore, and in some cases left in place where conditions are permittable.
