Sectional Docks
Sectional docks are docks that utilize posts and footpads to rest on the bottom of a lake. Ideal conditions include minimal water fluctuation, a firm or rocky bottom, and water depths that are less than 7 foot deep. Accessories and configurations are very plentiful with most manufacturers. Sectional docks can be and are often modified to accommodate soft or muddy situations in certain circumstances. These docks are often installed where a customer’s shoreline has a steep bank or hill, a retaining wall, or rip rap (large rocks). The sections are disassembled into smaller pieces for removal and can be stacked on top of each other where limited storage exists.
